This past week I started NaBloPoMo (short for National Blog Posting Month) on the first day of this month which was a Saturday, with a post on my new 100% vegan runners. It was National Vegan Month after all! ;) Entitled My New Runners are 100% Vegan! (I Kid You Not!) it featured my bright fuschia running shoes: http://xpressyouressence.blogspot.ca/2014/11/my-new-runners-are-vegan-i-kid-you-not.html.
Sunday brought Post Halloween Photos... with the purposeful marching dots in the title in the hopes of enticing readers - hahahaha (witch's cackle) - to read the post of one of my favourite days, at least in terms of "dressing up!" (http://www.xpressyouressence.blogspot.ca/2014/11/post-halloween-photos.html)
Monday's post should technically have been or could have been Saturday's post, November is National Novel Writing Month which is challenge to write a first draft of a novel within 30 days: http://xpressyouressence.blogspot.ca/2014/11/november-is-national-novel-writing-month.html
Tuesday's post, Writing when Emotional? Not! spoke about a few matters relating to writing when emotional or not, and writer's block (http://www.xpressyouressence.blogspot.ca/2014/11/writing-when-emotional-not.html).
I actually didn't think I had a blogging voice per se on Wednesday's post, My Blogging Voice http://www.xpressyouressence.blogspot.ca/2014/11/my-blogging-voice.html with a 'cheeky' picture to boot! ;) You blessed readers assured that I indeed did have a voice and a unique one at that! Thanks for your feedback! :)
Thursday's post initially was untitled as I was struggling with it, http://www.xpressyouressence.blogspot.ca/2014/11/todays-post-is-nablopomo-prompt-with.html, contemplating what would be most appropriate; sometimes I get titles intuitively, but not that day! I ended up with Me? Professional Blogger? And You? - you can let me know of a better one along the same lines if you wish - which spoke about the difference between a professional blogger and a hobbyist one. Me: definitely the latter, though who knows, that could change one day...never say "never!" ;)
Friday brought forth Vacation Spot: Not with some countries I have no interest whatsoever to explore and others I do as I am curious about them for different reasons which I mention, http://www.xpressyouressence.blogspot.ca/2014/11/vacation-spot-not.html.
Thank you to all my wonderful robust readers, faithful followers, and courageous commenters! Love you all!
P.S. Blogging friends, you may be interested in my post tomorrow ...

I am linking this to NaBloPoMo and Write Tribe Bloggers.
Great idea for this post -- I think I will do the same. Thank you Elly!
ReplyDeleteThanks Carol, though the idea came from one of Kathy Hadley's earliest emails from Ultimate Blog Challenge. ;) Now, everyone is going to follow suit! ;) <3
DeleteSometimes, you don't appreciate all your hard work until you look back. I've never done a weekly summary of my blog posts. What great idea - thank you. Alana
ReplyDeleteYes, at times for sure. See my comment above to Carol. ;) <3
DeleteYou've had a busy writing week - well done!
ReplyDeleteFor sure Laurel: thanks! ;) <3
DeleteGreat idea to do a summary post. And good luck with the NaBloPoMo.
ReplyDeleteYes, though see comment above to Carol. ;) And thanks for your well wishes Suzy. :) <3
DeleteI too love the idea of summarizing a weekly blog post - great one. I'll have to ponder that a bit and see how this goes.

Yes, though see comment above to Carol. ;) Don't ponder too long on it Dorit...it's going to catch fire! ;) <3
DeleteGreat idea! summarising your weekly posts I will make an effort. Let me see if it succeeds
ReplyDeleteUsha, read my comments to both Carol and Dorit! ;) I'm sure it will succeed! ;) <3
DeleteYou gave an excellent run down of the subjects you blogged about this week. You know, I can never remember from day to day seing as I rely on news items that inspire me to speak about my thoughts and experience about the matter.
ReplyDeleteOh but I 'cheat' Francene as I have to check if I don't keep a running tab or log of the posts! ;) And I think it's great that you write about newsworthy events: thanks! :) <3
DeleteI love doing weekly recaps. It helps bring the readers attention to posts they may have missed.
ReplyDeleteYes for sure Marie. I so agree! ;) <3
DeleteOh fun! A recap! I am a vegetarian but not vegan yet... Working on it!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ashley. I'm not judging anyone whether they are vegetarian or not, so no worries! ;) <3
DeleteThis is the second post of this type I've seen. They are a great idea to redirect people to other posts. A great idea when you may not have time or content for a new post. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, and also a nice break from coming up with new posts daily Carrie, don't you think? ;) <3
DeleteIt looks like it was a great blogging week, Elly!
ReplyDeleteThanks Michelle. It certainly was as usually it's only a five-day week, though this time it's seven including last weekend! ;) <3
DeleteLOVE this recap idea! But not as much as I love the title Vacation Spot: Not! Very me!
ReplyDeleteGlad you love it Liese, though it wasn't my idea! See my comment to Carol on top! ;) And glad you love that title...I do too: I think that one came to me intuitively. :) <3
DeleteLoved the recap...Made me think of all the posts you had written and what I felt about them...Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you love the recap Nabanita, and I think it does the same for me too! ;) <3
